Overtime policy
We believe that overtime is inherently unsustainable and should be avoided as much as possible.
Overtime compensation
If an emergency occurs where overtime is the only reasonable solution is for one or more team members to work overtime, the time should be compensated according to Swedish IT collective agreement or overtime rules local to the country where the team member is employed, whichever is better. Swedish compensation rules as of 2021-10-27:
- Overtime can be compensated in money or in extra time off, as chosen by the team member.
- In case of monetary compensation each hour of overtime should be paid with
(monthly salary)/94
(Monday-Friday between 6-20) or with(monthly salary)/72
(Remaining time). - In case of extra time off, each hour of overtime gives 1.5 hours of compensatory time off (Monday-Friday between 6-20) or 2 hours of commpensatory time off (Remaining time).
